'‘ In the Swiss Alps, a farmer and his wife run an artisan dairy farm under the brand ‘yummylk’. Their fresh and natural products are distributed locally, and they prioritise the care of their cows and the environment. They feel proud to share a taste of their home with the local community.'‘

As a project of mine to engage with more creations that vibe and match my style, I joined this weekly design competition that challenges creators to develop branding material based on a simple brief - from logos to packaging design and all collaterals that may want to include.

The outcome: I decided to mix things up by blending rustic and classic tones tossed in a fun and quirky logo - for a bit of contrast and to really make it pop.

I am personally the kind of consumer who buys products for their cool and eye-catching labels. So I constantly asked myself throughout the creative process: ''Would I buy this If I've seen it in the market?’ And until my answer wasn't ‘hell yes’, I wouldn't be satisfied.

Taking into consideration that it consists of a very small local business that also cares about the environment, I offered a range of packaging that resonates with a homemade crafty production. Re-usable glass bottles for the milk, jars for the yoghurt, and meaning to avoid the use of plastic as much as possible for the cheese - paper wrap for individual packaging and cardboard boxes for the delivery of their premium selection of artisan cheese.
